Celebration of 40th yrs. of District Day of Barpeta District
On the occasion of celebration of 40th yrs. of District Day of Barpeta District, a two-day long program starting from 30-06-2023 has been organised by the District Administration Barpeta with the cooperation of the people of Barpeta. As a part of celebration, 9 nos. eminent personality, who made Barpeta proud in different fields were felicitated in a meeting held at District Library auditorium. On 1st July, All the officers and staff together prayed at Barpeta Satra for the well-being of the people of Barpeta district. A discussion circle was held in the Seminar Hall of Madhab Chowdhury College. In this discussion, three resource persons highlighted on different important and interesting topics like Barpeta river, Barpeta culture etc. The Rangghar theatre group, also presented a drama "Panchniir Atithi" based on the story of Rasaraj Lakshminath Bezbaruah, at District Library Auditorium.
